Tiffany Cooper-Aguilar
Owner/ Funeral Director/ Embalmer
Tiffany Cooper-Aguilar graduated from San Antonio College with an AAS in Mortuary Science in 2013. She earned her apprenticeship and provisional license at the Zoeller Funeral Home in New Braunfels and the Goetz Funeral Home (SCI) in Seguin. In the fall of 2013, she secured the FDIC position at Palmer Mortuary & Cremations (Legacy Funeral Group) in Seguin.
In 2015, she was awarded the Funeral Director of the Year for Legacy and was promoted to location manager. Over the next three years to follow, in 2018, she worked diligently to build up her reputation and career, earning her spot in the Meet the Mentors Program in Atlanta, Ga., for the National Funeral Directors Association, awarded The Young Professional of the Year for the South Central Chapter of the Texas Funeral Directors Association, awarded Young Professional of the Year for TFDA at the State Convention and also landing an article in a national publication, the American Director.
Tiffany remained in her position at Palmer Mortuary & Cremations and Goetz Funeral Home until December 2018. She then settled in at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Crematory & Memorial Park (Park Lawn Corp.), in San Antonio before she relocated to East Texas at the end of 2021. At Chapel Hill, she received her license as a Crematory Operator and served as the interim Location Manager and Lead Funeral Director.
She began working contract labor throughout the state in 2019. She is the president and (sole) owner of Aguilar Funeral Services, LLC. In February 2022, Tiffany became the proud owner of a funeral home. Tiffany also continues to support rural and privately owned funeral homes by providing competent contract labor throughout the state.
Tiffany has remained involved with the Texas Funeral Directors Association in the past, serving as a board member (past President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer) with the South-Central Chapter, Texas Funeral Directors Association—Disaster Team, and on several committees for the association. Now that she has settled in East Texas, she will set her sights on participating in the TFDA’s East Chapter. She also presents continuing education on Vital Statistics for funeral professionals throughout the state.
Locally, in East Texas, she is a member of the Franklin County Chamber, the Titus County Chamber, the Mount Vernon Key Club, sits on the boards of the Office of Multicultural Affairs of NETX, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Child Fatality Review Board (Titus/Camp Counties), volunteers for Heart to Heart and Cypress Basin Hospices and has participated, being a noted speaker for the Drug Awareness Seminar that highlights the dangers of drug use.
Tiffany enjoys traveling, shopping at flea markets, thrifting, touring funeral homes, and exploring cemeteries. She has a huge heart for animals (she’s known for rescuing cats and dogs) and spending time with her husband (and fellow Mortician) Chris Aguilar, their daughter, Kamille, and their pets.

Haleigh Mitchell is a mortuary science major at Northeast Texas Community College. Haleigh has obtained a Crematory Operations Certification through the Cremation Association of North America and completed the Funeral Certificate portion in the spring of 2026.
Haleigh comes from an agricultural background of rodeo and ranching in Mount Vernon, Texas. Her roots run deep in Franklin County. She spent 8 years in the rodeo industry, obtaining titles, advocating for the sport of rodeo, and being a spokeswoman within the United Professional Rodeo Association.
Aside from being a type one diabetic cowgirl and working towards serving families through the funeral industry, she enjoys expressing her vocal talents and is a Texas state vocalist. Haleigh looks forward to applying all the skills she has obtained in life and growing her knowledge of the funeral industry.

Samson R. Perez

Samson Perez was born and raised in the tight-knit community of Mount Pleasant, Texas. From an early age, Samson stood out for his deep sense of compassion and his desire to serve others, qualities that would shape his goals and future aspirations.
He’s the only boy in a family with two sisters; Samson grew up valuing strong family bonds and the importance of support during life’s most difficult times. Now a high school graduate, he is already paving the way for a career built on empathy and leadership. His passion for helping people through grief has inspired him to pursue a degree in mortuary science. With God's help, he plans to continue his education at the University of North Texas, where he will major in business administration.
Samson’s ultimate dream is to open and operate his own funeral home—one built not just on professionalism, but on genuine care and community support. His vision is to provide comfort, guidance, and dignity to families during their most vulnerable moments.
Outside of his career ambitions, Samson enjoys the simple pleasures of life. He loves swimming on hot Texas days and cherishes time spent with family, friends, and of course, we can't forget about his fur babies!

Zoey currently holds her Crematory Operator Certification and will be applying for her provisional license soon.
She enjoys putting puzzles together, watching comedic dramas such as desperate housewives, and doing her nails.
Zoey currently holds her crematory operator certification and is applying for her official Funeral Directors license soon. She enjoys playing sudoku, puzzles and doing friends and family nails. While she holds a deep love for caring for families and the profession, Zoey is exited to soon enroll in cosmetology school to expand her knowledge and current skill set while learning new skills to apply to the profession.
