The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23

Till this day he still owned his horse of over 20 years, Sheba, whom he trained his nieces and nephews to ride.
His family remembers him as a great cook. He learned a great deal about being in the kitchen from his grandmother, whom he lovingly called Big Mama. Tyrone enjoyed cooking for his family and even poking fun at some of his siblings on who was the better cook.
Tyrone's love and passion for animals was also prevalent at home. His beloved canine companion, Jewel and cat of over 9 years, Tabby, were loved and important to him.
A man of faith, Tyrone was active and involved at his church, the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Paris, TX. He served in the kitchen as the meat cutter, he was a member in the male chorus and also as a trustee of the church.
