Robbie Shyanne Sowell, of Mount Vernon, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 17. She was born in Abilene, Texas on March 24, 2008, to Lisa Marie Sowell and Corey Cathey.

Robbie is preceded and reunited in death with her, son, Asher Tate Cochran, paternal grandparents, Terry and Nancy Cathey, uncles, Justin and Patrick Cathey, as well as maternal grandparents and great grandparents.

Her survivors include her parents, Lisa Marie and Corey Cathey, fiancé, Dylan Seth Cochran; children, Colter Cathey and Meadow Cochran; sisters, Marissa and husband, Mason, Misty and Hannah and husband, Kaden; brothers, Hunter and wife, Kaylee, Wyatt, Rusty, Michael and Ray Don; in-laws, Mike and Karen Cochran; best friend, Skylar North; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Robbie was a light in her parents’ world, Daddy’s princess and could do no wrong in his eyes. In her own words, she was the “Little Big Sister,” to her siblings, as she made it her job to care for about them.

She was known to be an animal lover and her family even referred to her as an “animal whisperer.” Robbie also enjoyed baking.

Her time was filled with being a loving mother to her children. She adored and cherished them.

Family and friends will gather to honor Robbie with a Visitation on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Aguilar Funeral Chapel, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and a Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 p.m. Chaplain, Rusty Fennell will be the officiant, and services will conclude in the chapel.
