Misty Nichole Mohr, 51, of Mount Pleasant, TX, was born May 7, 1975, and passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026. Misty was a woman of incredible strength, unwavering faith, and a heart that found joy in life’s simplest moments. If you knew Misty, you knew she never gave up, no matter what came her way. Even when life knocked her down, she never lost faith. She was full of grit and grace, demonstrating the power of forgiveness through the grace bestowed upon her. She often said, “I couldn’t have made it through without Jesus, and truly knowing Him has made it worth it all.”
Though sickness took her earthly body, she held tight to her faith, and it lifted her up one last time as she woke up healed in the arms of the Lord. Misty loved the Lord above all else and treasured every moment spent with her family. She took great pride in her work prepping vehicles in the auto shop. She loved to sing, make people laugh, and her smile could be sparked by the smallest of things. Her resilience, boldness, love, and faith left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to truly know her.
She leaves behind to carry her memory, her mother and stepdad, Brenda and Darrell Estes; her aunts and uncles, Janie and Dennis Johnston, Mona and Buster Allen, and Anita and Troy Allen; her children, Sheyenne (Mitchell) Whitaker, Jasper Conway, Augustus (Marli) Conway, Shawnee Conway, and Jessie (Dalton) Bradshaw; her beloved grandchildren, Lillian, Mace, Karter, Novalee, Montanna, Kinsley, Braxton, Indie, and Koe; and numerous extended family and friends.
Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice knowing that Misty’s faith has become sight. She fought the good fight, finished the race, and is now at peace in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
“Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” —1 Corinthians 13:13
