Michelle Diann Sims was born on February 13, 1964, in Cleburne, Texas, to Jasper Earl Sims and Freddie Lynn Maughon Sims. She passed away March 16, 2021, in Mount Vernon, Texas. Michelle was a graduate of Burleson High School. She was very active in Special Olympics and Franklin County Handicapable Rodeo. She had lived in Mount Vernon for the past 20 years and was a member of the Mount Vernon Church of Christ. She loved listening to old country music, her favorites were Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams Sr. and Brooks and Dunn.

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents and four stepbrothers. She is survived by her sister, Linda Sharpin and husband, Mark, of Mount Vernon, Texas; nieces, Lisa Sharpin, Jessica Donohoe and husband, Nathan; numerous other nieces and nephews, family members and friends.

Family will receive friends and family on Friday, March 19, 2021, from 3-5:00 pm at Collvins Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 1:00 pm a Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas.
