Lynda Lou (Gilbreath) Kline

Lynda Lou Kline, of Mount Vernon, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born in Corsicana, Texas, on June 7, 1941, to Agnes (Philley) and Floyd Gilbreath.

One of 10 children and a twin, she was raised in Hubbard, Texas. In 1963, Lynda met the love of her life, in a bowling alley in Dallas, Winford Lee Kline. The two of them courted for a short time and married soon after.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, Winford L. Kline, their son, Winford L. Kline, Jr., grandson, Samuel Kline, as well as her twin sister, Glenda Taberham.

Lynda loved her family immensely and especially enjoyed being a grandmother. She often showed her love by cooking and making meals for others. She was known for bringing meals and food to those who were sick or in need.

She was a great angler and could be seen fishing any chance she could. With a friendly and outgoing personality, Lynda enjoyed talking and meeting people.

Lynda will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
