Leroy Case

April 18, 1944 — August 16, 2025

DeKalb, Texas

Leroy Case, of DeKalb, was reunited in heaven with his wife, Terri Ann, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the age of 81. He was born in Dallas, Texas on April 18, 1944, to Lula Edith (Green) and ZebDee Case.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his son, Randal Case and wife, Laura, daughter, Heather Hamilton and husband, Hugh Paul; grandchildren, Randal Lee Case, Jr. "RJ", and wife, Michaela Sullins, Collene Potter and husband, Sean, Brittney Duke and husband, Dawson, Andrew Hamilton and wife, Yao and Carter Hamilton and wife, Sarah; great grandchildren, Elijah Sullins, Nyomi Copus, Hayden Potter, Sofia Hamilton, William Hamilton, Sylive Hamilton, and twins, Lilliana Ann Case and Randal Lee Case, III.

Leroy was a man of traditional values that loved his family. He cherished the time he spent with them. He was a hard worker that loved to fish and hunt. He passed these traits down to his son and grandchildren. He had a big heart and his daughter-in-law, Laura, can recall him and Terri, taking her in, at a young age, when she had no one to turn to.

He was an avid animal lover, and he adored his cats.

He was also a Veteran that served in the US Navy. He proudly served our country, and we thank him for his service.

Leroy enjoyed spending time on his property. The quietness of the outdoors, the vastness of it and the home he had there meant a whole lot to him.

His grandchildren were the joys of his life. His grandchildren also shared memories of the hamster and hermit crab "farms," that they had growing up. Of course, Leroy would buy them at the mall whenever they went, even if it was against their parent's request. He also encouraged and funded their love for video games, and he even enjoyed the soundtrack from games like, HALO.

Leroy was surely a one-of-a-kind soul. He loved greatly and now he will greatly be missed by those who knew him.
