Juan deja a su amada esposa, Araceli Bocanegra; a sus hijos, Lucía Bocanegra, Esteban Hernández, Luis Hernández, Lidia Hernández, Carlos Martínez y Diana Martínez; a sus hermanos, José Hernández Amezquita, Miguel, Fidel, Francisco Javier, Alfredo, María Cristina, María Dolores y María Gloria; así como a numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas y amigos.

Juan será recordado por su esposa e hijos como un hombre trabajador. Fue un electricista talentoso que soñaba con algún día abrir su propio negocio. Fue un esposo y padre amoroso. Sus hijos también mencionan que era un gran cocinero y que especialmente les encantaba cuando preparaba pescado frito.

Fue firme en su fe Católica y devoto de San Judas Tadeo. Él crió a su familia conforme a sus creencias religiosas, y ellos se mantendrán fieles a esas creencias aun en su ausencia.

Amoroso, alegre y divertido son algunas de las maneras en que Juan será recordado. Será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron y amaron.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio en honor a Juan en la Capilla de la Funeraria Aguilar el Sábado 10 de Enero de 2026, de 5:00 pm. a 12:00 am., con el rezo del Santo Rosario a las 7:00 pm.

Juan Luis Hernandez Amezquita, of Leesburg, entered the arms of God on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the age of 41. He was born in San Felipe, Guanajuato, MX, to Maria Irma Amezquita and Cristino Hernandez.

He is reunited in heaven with his parents.

Juan leaves behind his beloved wife, Araceli Bocanegra, their children, Lucia Bocanegra, Esteban Hernandez, Luis Hernandez, Lidia Hernandez, Carlos Martinez and Diana Martinez; siblings, Jose Hernandez Amezquita, Miguel, Fidel, Francisco Javier, Alfredo, Maria Cristina, Maria Dolores and Maria Gloria; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Juan will be remembered by his wife and children as being a hard-working man. He was a talented electrician that dreamed of one day opening his

own business. He was a loving husband and father to all his children. His children also mentioned that he was a great cook and they especially loved it when he made fried fish.

He was strong in his Catholic faith, and he was devoted to St. Jude. He also raised his family around his religious beliefs and they will hold true to

those beliefs even though he is gone.

Loving, happy, and funny are some of the ways that Juan will be remembered. He will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

A Velorio will be held in Juan’s honor at the Aguilar Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 12 am, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.
