Josey Rae Rampino

Josey Rae Rampino, of Mount Vernon, TX entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the young age of 16. On September 28, 2008, in Irving, Texas, Brandi Michelle Ragsdale and Anthony Mitchell Rampino, welcomed a beautiful little girl, baby Josey, into their family.

She is preceded in death by her great grandmother, Vera Sparks-Anderson, great grandmother, Bobbie Ragsdale, grandmother, Beverly Ragsdale, great aunt, Sandra Gaines, great uncle, Gerald Sparks, and her aunt, Misty Ragsdale.

Survivors include her mother, Brandi M. Ragsdale, sister, Zoei R. Ragsdale, brother, Wiley J. Wagner, and father, Anthony Rampino.

Josey had a true gift for creativity, which she expressed through writing poetry, music, and stories. She loved sharing her talents by creating content online through platforms like TikTok and YouTube. As a gifted artist, Josey spent countless hours drawing and sketching, both digitally and on paper. Her passion for fashion inspired her to design and make her own clothing. She was delighted in capturing memories during photoshoots with her friends. Like her mother, Josey also loved to cook specially experimenting with fancy ramen dishes. In her free time, she enjoyed watching anime, her favorites included Demon Slayer, Saiki K., and Seven Deadly Sins.

Josey also excelled academically, taking on the challenge of Honors classes such as Physics, English, and Dual Credit U.S. History. She explored her creative side through photography, audio video production, and engineering design classes, where she continued to develop her artistic vision.

Family and friends will gather to honor Josey, for a Visitation on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Aguilar Funeral Chapel, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 4:30 p.m. Josey will be laid to rest out at the Bethel Cemetery in Scroggins.
