Josephine Gill, 79, passed away on August 29, 2021 in her Houston home. She was born on March 10, 1942 in Mobile, Alabama. Josephine had been a caretaker in a mental facility for many years before her retirement. She is survived by her children, Kenneth R. Johnson and wife, Terri of Washington, Karen Hathorn and husband, James of Irving,TX, Kathy Johnson and wife, Mechell of Dallas, TX and John Gill of Houston, TX; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Roosevelt Harris of Alabama and Theodore Pritchett of North Carolina; and sisters, Alma Jean Diggs of Michigan and Edwina Dixon of Alabama.

The family will hold a private service at a later date in Alabama.
