Obituary

Jorge Luis Becerril, of Pittsburg entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 25, 2026, at the age of 54. He was born in Michoacan, Mexico on October 1, 1971, to Jorge Becerril Campos and Jovita Zepeda Reyes.

He is preceded in death by granddaughter, Lucy Alani Becerril, and father, Jorge Becerril Campos.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Belen Delgado Becerril, children, Jorge Becerril Jr., and wife, Cecilia Alaniz, Rodrigo Becerril and wife, Perla Santos, Cindy Becerril, and Hugo Becerril; grandson, Jorge Andy Becerril and soon to be born grandson, Maties Becerril; siblings, Maricella Ponce and husband, Margarito, Victor Manuel Becerril and wife, Selina, Araceli Becerril and husband, Alejandro Ponce, Faustino Becerril and Claudia Vargas, Rosalio Becerril and wife, Gabi, Gildardo Becerril and wife, Carmen, and Juan Becerril; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jorge was a hardworking family man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially hunting during deer season. Jorge at heart was a dedicated rancher who could be seen taking care of his animals, particularly his cows, making sure that they had what they needed to grow and thrive.

Family and friends will gather for the Velorio at the Becerril Family Home, located at 2934 FM 556, Pittsburg, TX 75686, on Friday, June 26, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. and it will continue until 7:30 a.m. the next morning. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., with the Burial to follow at the Rosehill Cemetery.
