Henryetta Hall

September 26, 1935 — August 16, 2019

Tribute Henryetta Hall, age 83, of Hagansport, passed away in the early afternoon hours of Friday, August 16, 2019 at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, with her beloved family by her side. She was born on September 26, 1935 in the Lakeview Community of Franklin County, Texas to the late Henry and Ethel Elliott Miller. Henryetta married the love of her life, her best friend, Gleen Dearil Hall, on August 2, 1952 in Texarkana, Texas. Together they spent nearly 60 years raising children and grandchildren and living a lifetime of memories. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2012. Henryetta was a member of the Sulphur River Cowboy Church since it began, as she was a vital member of the group that helped to create the church. She worked as an LVN for nearly 25 years in various nursing homes. Nursing to Henryetta was much more than a job - she had a passion for those she was able to help throughout her career. Henryetta loved sports, especially football and softball. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. She enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved John Wayne and anything that he had to do with. Henryetta had two dogs, "JR" and "Sugar" who kept her company in the days after her husband passed. Those who knew Henryetta best will always know that her favorite joys in life came from her beloved family. She was a dedicated mother to her children and "Nannie" to her grandchildren. Her laughter and love will live on in their memories for the rest of their lives. Henryetta is survived by two daughters, Glenda Burns Brooks, and husband Jack, and Loretta Lynn Davis, and husband Perry, all of Hagansport; one son, Tony Joe Hall of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Lori Annetta Davis, Tori Ganola Davis, and Jeffrey Lynn Davis, and fiancé Sammi Smith; great-grandchildren, Cambrie A'Rae Motley and Destiny Rain Davis; step-grandchildren, Capri McCarty, and husband Jeff, and Dakota Brooks; and by a host of other relatives and very special friends.
