Ethyl Bryant Dillard, 92, passed away on May 06, 2021 in Mount Vernon, Texas. Ethyl was born on August 31, 1928 in Red Lick, Texas to James Bryant Taylor and Mary Pearl (Hawkins) Taylor.

Ethyl was a insurance clerk for Utica Insurance for over 20 years until her retirement in the early 1990's.  She had been a resident of Mount Vernon since 1995 where she was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herman Beck Dillard and her parents.

She is survived by her sons, James Dillard and wife, Gail of Fate, TX and Kenneth Dillard and wife, Mona of Mount Vernon; six grandchildren, Jason Dillard, Dustin Dillard, Amanda Hutchinson, Leona Dillard, Emma Dillard and Colson Dillard; 10 great grandchildren; and sister, Lanell Ussery of Texarkana, AR.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 10:00AM at Collvins Memorial Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, Texas.
