Erick Alfredo Rodriguez

Erick Alfredo Rodriguez, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on September 24, 2025, at the young age of 20. A rainbow baby, he was born in Mount Pleasant, TX to Sandy Luna Ramirez and Eduardo Rodriguez Espinosa on March 27, 2005.

Erick is survived by his mother, Sandy Luna Ramirez, and father, Eduardo Rodriguez Espinosa, siblings; Litzy Rodriguez, Fredy Campos, Kevin Valdovinos, Aylinn, Adalyn, and Robert Garcia; grandparents and padrinos; Maria and Freddie Adame, aunts and uncles; Cynthia Luna, Heriberto Luna, Jose Luna, Nicholas Luna, Michael Luna, Daisy Equihua, Nubia Ortiz, Marisol Luna and Jr. Luna, and numerous cousins, including, Marco Luna, Luis Luna, Angel Luna, Alexis Luna, and Giovanni De La Rosa. He is also survived by his beloved girlfriend, Alma Hernandez and soon to be born daughter, Ruby Rodriguez.

Erick was a hardworking young man who was always ready to work, never making excuses to show up and took pride in his position as a manager. In his spare time, Erick could be seen fishing and enjoying the thrill of a catch.

He was known for being a wonderful son, who helped his mother often, and a good older brother. Erick was also a homebody who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His family will remember him for his beautiful smile and loving personality.

Family and friends will gather for a Velorio on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 3:00pm to 9:20am at the Aguilar Funeral Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 10:00am with the Rites of a Christian Burial to follow at the Cortznes Cemetery.
