Deanna M. (Kilts) Spillman

Deanna M. Spillman, of Sulphur Springs, Texas entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the age of 79 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on June 9,1943, to Juanita and Arthur Kilts. Deanna was the second youngest of four children.

She is survived by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Raymond L. Spillman; children: Carla Spillman, Raymond Spillman Jr., Jeffery Spillman, Vincent Spillman, and daughter in law Linda Somera; 8 grandchildren: Danny Jr., Olivia, Chris, Joshua, Justin, Trevor, Jasmine, Steven, and Jake; 7 great grandchildren: Abagail, Kayley, Danny III, Korra, Leia, Carter, and Charlotte.

Deanna was truly a kind-hearted woman who met everyone with a smile; to know her was to love her. Deanna's remarkable passion for gardening was a fruitful venture. Her nurturing nature flourished gorgeous vibrant flowers and grew the most stunning red roses. Deanna had a love for birds, with hummingbirds being her favorite. She enjoyed watching them as they nourished themselves in her lustrous garden. She also enjoyed spending her quiet time reading a good book. This remarkable woman was known to be the most loving, caring, and all-around amazing human being.

A Graveside Service, with the Burial to follow, at the Merit Cemetery in Merit, Texas will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
