Darwin Wayne Morgan, of Mount Vernon, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the age of 76. He was born in Waco, Texas on July 29, 1945 to JC Morgan and Ora Alice (Martin) Morgan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Donald Lynn Morgan and Brenda R. Wilkens and husband Richard; brother in law, Charles Walker and daughter: Alice R. Morgan.

Survivors include his children: Kenneth Wayne Morgan and wife Christine, Donald Wayne Morgan and wife Melissa, and Sheila Breaux and husband Johnny; grandchildren: Amber Garvey and husband Ben, Anthony Acosta and wife Michelle, Ashely Lemmon and husband Shane, Christopher James Morgan and Samantha Alice Morgan; great grandchildren: Blaze, Camden, Decklyn, Levi, Ryder, Michael and hunter; siblings: Lonnie Edward Morgan and wife Sue, Drusilla Walker and David Ray Morgan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a generous man, that was known to, "give you the shirt off his back." You could also depend on him to always make you smile or laugh. He came from a family of hard working truck drivers and he, himself was a proud truck driver for numerous years. Wayne enjoyed looking sharp. He would dress up, making sure his clothes were pressed and he smelled good. Wayne loved his family more than anything else in the world. He enjoyed spending time with them, making memories with them and never took it for granted. His family and friends will remember him for his smile. Wayne may be gone but he will never be forgotten.

Vistation will be held at the Collvins Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Wayne's final resting place will be at the Glade Springs Cemetery.
