Cristy Monroe (Mitchell) Woodberry

Cristy Monroe (Mitchell) Woodberry, of Mount Vernon, entered eternal rest on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the age of 44. She was born in Daingerfield, Texas, on August 11, 1980, to Alvin and JoAnn (Hendrix) Mitchell.

She is reunited in heaven with her parents and brother, Jeffrey Wayne Mitchell.

Cristy was known to be a quiet person with a kind and friendly personality. She got along with everyone. She was also a graduate of Daingerfield High School Class of 1998. She will forever be remembered for her bright smile.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Alexia Deshay Mitchell, brother, Calvin Mitchell, and wife, Kilha Marie Williams, as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Cristy will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
